Movement Movement

Movement

Everything begins with the first breath,
and ends with the last one.
Our breath guides us, if we let it.

Breathing flow and physical mobility are elementary
components of balanced training, as well as physical and mental fitness.

Find balance

Think of it like this: Too much tension leads to rigidity, like uncooked spaghetti. Too little tension is like overcooked spaghetti. Al dente is the optimum: not too soft, not too hard. We can teach you how to feel your breath again, let it guide you and get your body al dente.

Cultivation of sustainable patterns.

Our goal is to help our students reconnect with their bodies, and in doing so, rekindle their spirit. Our movement training not only helps to improve performance in pole and dance, but above all to cultivate healthy and sustainable movement patterns and a high level of body awareness. You will surely also benefit from it in your everyday life.

In our complementary movement courses, we make healthy movement and breathing patterns tangible for you so that you can emerge gently, but purposefully relaxed, refreshed and invigorated. Increased body awareness helps you to stay healthy and injury-free, whether you’re doing sport or just enjoying life.

Movement is life, and life needs movement.

Strength and flexibility in balance result in mobility – smart stretching. In Mobility Flow, you will reconnect body and mind to achieve more sustainable physical mobility, stability, and balance. An eclectic mix of effective, well-founded methods from yoga, functional range conditioning, and somatic methodology from various body therapies and dance methodologies, is applied. This brings you closer to your flexibility goals while simultaneously making your body stronger and more resilient. Only functional stretching techniques are used to harmonise strength and flexibility and to even out imbalances. The goal is for you to feel freer and more mobile after each class, breathe better, and carry your body through life more consciously.

Open to all levels, absolutely no prior knowledge required. Highly recommended for non-pole enthusiasts as well!

In this group course, we enter the quiet, peaceful world of natural breathing. Under Alisa’s guidance, you will learn to better perceive your breath, let it flow, and direct it into healthier, more natural pathways using the Buteyko Breathing Method. Additionally, the application of various somatic techniques, including the Experiential Breath according to Ilse Middendorf, contributes to regulating the breath and nervous system. We explore our breath in both stillness and gentle movement to better feel how our body truly communicates with us. Learn to treat your body in a lung-friendly.

Our Bodyful Breathing format is explicitly designed for non-dancers as well. Every body is warmly welcome!

IMPORTANT HEALTH NOTES:

The Buteyko Method was developed by Dr. K.P. Buteyko in the 1950s in the USSR and has since provided relief from chronic diseases to countless people worldwide. The method shows particularly good results in diseases of civilisation directly related to chronic hyperventilation: asthma, sinusitis, hay fever, chronic nasal congestion, and similar respiratory problems, sleep apnea, high blood pressure, tachycardia, anxiety, restlessness, chronic fatigue, insomnia.

The Buteyko Method can also offer measurable performance improvement for athletes.

As the Buteyko Method involves controlled breath holds and directly manipulates the metabolism, some of the exercises are not suitable for pregnant women and/or severely ill individuals. In the course, Alisa always ensures she is aware of the personal stories of all participants and that everyone can safely handle the breath holds. If there is any uncertainty, please contact us directly and consult your attending physician. The Buteyko Method and breath therapy cannot replace medical supervision.
