Yes, high heels can help you start discovering your sensual or even erotic side.

Yes, showing loads of bare skin can empower you to an extent that only those who went from demure knickers to skimpy string can relate to.

BUT neither the shoes, nor the clothes make sensuality. They do not define your sensuality. If you want to authentically find and explore your own sensuality, I propose that first, you encounter what‘s there when you take all the accessories away.
And trust me, there‘s a lifetime of “prompts“ to discover there.

On the one hand we need to keep on showing respect to and recognise the reason why a certain aesthetic of “sexy“ pole dancing is so prevalent (all hail our foremothers in the clubs! ).
When it comes to sensuality per se though, I suggest you try and at least become aware that there is so much more that you need to tap into to know how to channel your sensual side, no matter what you‘re wearing.

If you‘ve put on your heels after a long hiatus, and are beating yourself up over why you‘re not getting into the zone, you might want to try taking those shoes off and encountering your body, and what you‘re feeling first.

Happily swinging my hips around a steel rod in whatever the f I want to wear.
Actually, I get “into the mood“ in baggy clothes and socks most of the times, ha!

 What‘s your take on this?
